The Sacramento SPCA is the region's only full-service, 100% nonprofit shelter and has been operating in the Sacramento region since 1892, positively impacting more than 40,000 pets annually from a single location in South Sacramento. The organization operates the Zoe K. McCrea Animal Health Center, a nationally ranked high-volume spay and neuter clinic, in addition to providing pet adoption services, wellness and vaccine clinics, and foster and educational outreach programs.
