Tyson Research Center is a 2,000-acre field station owned and operated by Washington University in St. Louis in the St. Louis, Missouri metropolitan area east of Eureka. The area was used as a munitions storage area during World War II and was purchased in 1968. It is part of the Henry Shaw Ozark Corridor which consists of over 8,000 acres of protected lands. It is a member of the Organization of Biological Field Stations (OBFS).
