Governors Island National Monument is a unit of the United States national park system in New York City. It is located on 22 acres of Governors Island, a 172-acre island located off the southern tip of Manhattan Island, at the confluence of the Hudson and East rivers in New York Harbor.

We went for the very first time during jazz weekend. I loved seeing everyone in their jazz outfits. We walked all around and love it. Can’t wait to go back. Not sure if the food options or the fort is
I walked the perimeter of Fort Jay but could not go inside. The entire fort is being restored. I am okay with that. I will be back and still enjoyed visiting the fort. I haven’t seen a structure like
