Musician and former proprietor Paddy Reilly has returned to Ireland, but his namesake pub still hosts nightly shows. Under new management since 2023, this decades-old Kips Bay bar is a great spot to hear some Irish tunes and drink what they claim is the best pint of Guinness in the city (it very well could be). Decorated with strings of lights and old-timey lanterns, the timeworn establishment has a little stage in the corner where bands get up and play, as well as a small room in the back with a pool table, a disco ball, and exceedingly cushy banquettes. Come for a show, or stop by for Happy Hour when it’s a bit quieter, and the pints are just as cold.
