Only 10 minutes on the train from Haarlem and great to get out of the cities. A windy day but lovely to walk along the beach, see the wind surfers, and enjoy a great pizza.

Empty beach when we walked around. Not much to see and do. The weather was gloomy. No vibe! Won't be back. Plus our Airbnb was a bad fit. The only good was the lovely cheese shop.

Beautiful sand and the water was a perfect temperature! Enough to cool you off but not too cold. 10 minutes from Haarlem by rail and an Easy walk from the train station. Great half day excursion to be
