Lindsey Nelson Stadium is a baseball stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee. It is the home field of the University of Tennessee Volunteers college baseball team. The stadium opened in 1993 and holds 4,283 people. The Stadium is named after Hall of Fame announcer Lindsey Nelson, who attended UT. Lindsey Nelson Stadium is also the name of a football stadium in Nelson's home town of Columbia, Tennessee. Completed in 1959, it is home field of Nelson's alma mater, Columbia Central High School.
