Set on a sprawling 64 acres off Springdale Valley in Northeast Austin, the second location of Austin Beerworks dwarfs the original taproom in North Austin by roughly 63 acres, most of which is a huge outdoor area. There’s a large taproom where you’ll find almost two dozen house-brewed beers—plus wine and cider from local producers—lined with long rows of tables, lots of board games, and a small disc golf store. And outside is a massive, shaded patio with an uncountable number of picnic tables and the Yellow Bell Tacos food truck selling smoked meat tacos. When the weather is nice, this is the type of place you’ll want to spend an entire afternoon. And thanks to coffee, beer, food, shelter, games, and more coffee, you can.
