We've been to dog beach many times. There's always some owner out there with a dog who is dangerous or that the owner cannot control. You usually can spot those people out and stay away from them, but

A bit of a hike but nice location and the dogs loved it. The water was easily accessible and very clean. The dog people are friendly and accommodating.

Just needs to be cleaned up a bit more and people need better control of their dogs. Some dogs are not trained well enough to be off leash.
