The views of New York Harbor are disgustingly grand, the shrimp cocktail is tender and meaty, and the walls are dressed in lacquered mahogany. Located at the southern tip of Manhattan in the landmarked Battery Maritime Building, Casa Cipriani really is quite impressive. And it'll cost you around four grand to get in. This FiDi offshoot of restaurant chain Cipriani is a private members club with a hotel attached, and it caters to a crowd that can tell a yacht from a superyacht by the sound of its horn. If you cough up the membership fee, you can sip a spritz on the terrace, listen to jazz in the dedicated jazz room, or catch a late-night DJ set in the couch-filled lounge. You won't see us there, but you might see Taylor Swift. Don't take a photo. Those aren't allowed.
