If you procrastinated making a reservation for date night until the day of, River House’s $35 bottles of wine and Youth Fair sized patio are here to rescue you. You’ll never have to worry about wrestling a hive of rosé-loving 20-somethings for a table. The outdoor wine bar has triple the seating capacity of Lagniappe—plus a vintage bus you can climb inside. They also take reservations, so there’s really no reason your butt can’t be planted in a chair. They offer build-your-own charcuterie boards from a fridge full of prosciutto and pecorino, and you can grab your own bottle of wine from the rack. Servers are usually pacing around in case you want to place an order for something more substantial (they have pizza, a random octopus tentacle, and more).
