From the team behind Dalston Superstore’s hottest trans masc night body2body, Alex Loveless and Clara Solis have worked tirelessly, funded by the community, to open this bar on Well Street. With shiny stainless steel stools, a warm terracotta colour scheme, and a fig tree in the garden, they have achieved the full, gay, Mediterranean fantasy in Hackney. Serving coffee and pastries during the day, and wine and cocktails in the evening, La Camionera is a sexy, laid-back alternative to East London’s louder queer destinations.
