Just off the water in the country beach town of San Leon is Pier 6 Seafood & Oyster House, with an almost shockingly modern interior that’s flooded with light due to massive floor-to-ceiling windows spanning the entire width of the Gulf seafood restaurant. Outside, you can both take in scenic views of Galveston Bay, or watch someone in a boat named “Sea Breeze” or “Life’s a Beach II” pull into the pier of Pier 6. Order a buttery lobster roll, or cornmeal crusted red snapper for dinner or lunch, or head ashore for brunch with bbq shrimp and grits. Add in a frozen blue blue drink and enjoy the bay breeze on a patio chair swing.
