The story of Schatzi's Bakery & Café began in 2021 in a quaint little courtyard off Ventura Blvd. in Sherman Oaks, located in the heart of Los Angeles. Based on our home countries Austria and Germany, we call each other - ever since we met for the first time - "Schatzi", which means "Darling, Honey, Sweetheart" in German Language Countries. We knew from the moment on we decided to open a little Bakery/Café, we HAVE to give it the name Schatzi. Our first Baby!
