Grab your daily loaf, and while you’re there, pick up an empanada for the road. We particularly love the empanada dough here—enriched to a fluffy state, with a shellacked golden crust. The rich, savory pernil is the filling to focus on, but if you need more than just a snack, you should also get the empanada stuffed with deep green spinach.
