Il Pizzaiolo is close to home so it's frequented by my family often. It is always busy and a very popular spot. The gnocchi Sorentina is solid but not my favorite in the city. Their carbonara dish is

Never disappoints. The baked eggplant parmigiana is unlike any served elsewhere. I stop here whenever I'm in Pittsburgh just to have that dish.
