If you’re wondering how a cafe with a team of Minion proprietors can be the best restaurant in Universal Studios, you aren’t alone, though don’t let your presuppositions about that scare you away—real humans do work in this restaurant. While the inside of the cafe is without a doubt a little chaotic (it’s one of the park’s most popular spots, so getting a table can take awhile) but it’s worth the fuss. The menu is all over the place, though the food here is better than you’ll find in the more expensive table service restaurants in the park. We love the green tomato soup served with a griddled pimento cheese sandwich, tonkatsu ramen with roasted porchetta, and of course, the custom minion-shaped tots.
