Copper Penny, we’re more than just a restaurant, we’re a family with a dream that turned into a growing legacy. Founded by Paul and Shelly Gref, our journey began as a bartender and a cook, both with a passion for great food, good company, and a dream of building something of our own. After years in the big city we moved our family to the small-town charm of North Carolina to raise our twin sons, Hunter and Joshua (Now in the Family business), in a rural community rooted in values we cherish.
