Right on the American River, well kept, clean toilets, great rangers, I was solo, and felt safe.

was super excited to go camping here and the pictures of the river look beautiful. unfortunately we got there and our campsite was barely big enough to put a tent and next to a bunch of other people.

Campground doesn't have running tap water . Toilet is vault toilet . Doesn't have sink in the toilet . The campground is full of mosquitoes . We were bitten all over . The only reason I gave 2 star is
