Blackburn Rovers Football Club is a professional association football club based in Ewood, Blackburn in the county of Lancashire, England. It competes in League One following its relegation from the Championship at the conclusion of the 2016–17 season. The club was established in 1875, becoming a founding member of The Football League in 1888. It is one of only three clubs to have been both a founder member of the Football League and the Premier League. In 1890, Rovers moved to Ewood Park.
