Everything coming out of the kitchen is a multi-stage Sizzle Fest with sauce glazes you could wax a sports car with. Make sure kimchi pancakes hit your table with their delicately crispy edges, along with the tteok-bokki, where rice cakes and silky noodles are a power couple absorbing all that subtly spicy tomato sauce. This is a great place for a birthday dinner, particularly if you nab a table in the back room. But any night that involves Modoo’s tasty entrees is cause for celebration.
