Brenton Point State Park is a public recreation area occupying 89 acres at the southwestern tip of Aquidneck Island in the city of Newport, Rhode Island. The state park offers wide vistas of the Atlantic Ocean where it meets Narragansett Bay. The park lies adjacent to the Newport Country Club, part of Newport's Ocean Drive Historic District.

Beautiful views! And we lucked out and visited during a kite festival. It was cool to see all the different kites soaring in the sky.
We were staying at a nearby resort, so it was a few minutes' drive to this park. We brought our lawn chairs and enjoyed the view of sailboats passing by, people flying kites (sold onsite), and familie
This place was GORGEOUS! Ample parking. The kids enjoyed the climbing of the rocks. Wear your swimsuit if you want to rock climb or go on the beach. Very least wear shorts!!! Waves can be strong....
