Go to Butterfly when your college friends are visiting from out of town and you need an upbeat BYOB spot. There are three locations, all in the West Town/West Loop area, and all of them serve tasty rolls and decent Thai food. This is good for Gina, who doesn’t actually like sushi but likes vodka sodas.

Outstanding! We tried Butterfly Sushi for our final 2026 Chicago Restaurant Week spot and were not disappointed! The Restaurant Week menu was by far the best value lunch menu we experienced this year!
Very delicious food. I tried the spider and came out fast and was so delicious. I also did the Thai iced coffee and that will definitely give you the kick you need. Calamari came with sauce and jalape
