We had a little day trip to this beach, which is dog friendly. There was plenty of parking and a nice cafe next to the car park. The tide was out when we arrived, which left lots of muddy areas...

Thurstaston Beach is a nice place to visit, particularly in the summer, when I went. On a hot day, it is great to go trailing and explore the different routes you can take, including part of the Wirra

A beautiful beach on the Dee estuary. So unspoilt and natural. Lots of water birds for the twitchers. So peaceful ❤️ Plenty of safe parking and a lovely cafe near by.
