We could confess how many Crumbs & Doilies cookies we ordered during the pandemic but our dentists might be reading this. This little bakery in Kingly Court not only produces some seriously sugary New York-style cookies, it also crafts hypnotically crunchy Biscoff rocky road and cupcakes covered in three inches of icing and sweet treat toppers. Basically, picture what a unicorn would make as a showstopper on Bake Off and you’ve got a fair idea of how many sprinkles and meringue kisses are involved in the decoration of these cupcakes. There are only a couple of stools inside so it’s very much a grab-and-go situation but there is a bench out front in case that tender moment with the raspberry and white chocolate cookie can’t wait.
