Returned to the ByWard market for the first time in about 10 years and it’s still the place in Ottawa to really enjoy urban life. Lots of shopping, good food, choices, bars, and lots of people strol..

Its not a market in the usual sense of the word. Yes, there are a few shops selling souvenirs and goods but don't expect e.g. fresh produce. Expect a load of eateries, bars, cafes and more cafes.

Nice,lots to see. Nice array of shops & restaurants. Great way to intro visitors to Cultural Ottawa. Love the Vibe. Recommend going.
