This small bakery and cafe in Reynoldstown does two things incredibly well: biscuits and burgers. When you step inside, the smell of buttery biscuits greets you. That’s your sign to get one since their pillowy buttermilk biscuits are right up there with the city’s best. We love the nutty taste of their Dabo biscuit, which has nigella and ajwain seeds, fusing a Southern classic with a traditional Ethiopian bread. And when the lunch transition hits, sprint to the counter to order their Drive-In Burger because this one often sells out. Upgrade to the double because in this case more actually is better. Each bite perfectly melds a salty patty with a nice char, melty cheese, tangy pickle, and shaved onions mixed in. We aren’t sure if there’s such a thing as a burger high, but we’re pretty sure we felt it after eating this.
