Recently stayed, disappointed hotel under renovation; room dated; advised guests required to give 24hr notice for room attendance, Loud reception in atrium right next to room - no notice to change roo

The hotel has not been updated in over 10 years, they actually had a 32 inch TV. Very basic stuff in the room and again everything is over 10 years old. The room was warm and the air conditioner bare.

I clearly have the do not disturb sign on my door and the house keeping lady kept knocking and then opened the door while I’m laying in bed. What is the point of the busy sign when they don’t respect
