Formerly a communications major and a design company founder, Gary Chan followed his passion for baking and opened Bibble & Sip in 2014 after graduating from the International Culinary Center. Bibble and Sip is known for its cute llama motifs and crème puffs. I’m also a big fan of the matcha pearl egg tarts, mostly because of the chewy boba that’s embedded in a jiggly matcha-flavored egg custard held together by a buttery and flaky crust. There’s also the fact that these egg tarts are kind of exclusive - they are only available Friday through Sunday. Chan opened Bibble and Sip’s first location in Hell’s Kitchen, but just opened the second one in Chinatown if you’re looking to get away from the hectic crowd by Times Square.
