Like its big sister La Luna, this lively Logan Square spot has quesabirria in its DNA. But La Lunita is more like the sibling who is really good at hosting wine dinners, thanks to exclusive large plates, fun music, and a line-up of Mexican reds and whites. Seafood dishes are particularly tasty, like zesty al pastor-seasoned octopus or saucy grilled oysters. We also like their mole-blanketed enchiladas with homemade tortillas, along with their chunky guacamole seasoned with chicatanas. But even when we’re not committing to a full meal, we like catching up with friends in their bright dining room over drinks—especially when there’s a breeze blowing through their big garage door windows, and the DJ is queuing up some Karol G and Young Miko.
