We had read a true story about Blackie so the statue meant something to us. But I'm not sure we would have visited it otherwise. It is crazy how swaybacked Blake was.

Expansive area and trail along the water to get your steps in and clear your mind. Plenty parking. Self bike repair station and restrooms on the path.
