The Bristol Harbour Railway is a heritage railway in Bristol, England operated by Bristol Museums Galleries & Archives. It runs for approximately 1 mile along the south side of Bristol Harbour, starting at M Shed, stopping at the SS Great Britain, and ending at B Bond Warehouse (home of the Create Centre), one of the large tobacco warehouses beside Cumberland Basin.

I just wanted to thank the lovely train conductor for letting me and my son ride the train today even though you were not expecting card payment you very kindly let us ride at the back of the train!!
We have been to this railway many times, a short volunteer run round a small bit of the harbour. It has a feel of run for fun and that adds to its charm.
What a wonderful experience !! As someone with a life long passion for steam locomotives this was truly unique in the U.K. in this day and age. A slow and careful train ride with a live steam standard
