The National Theatre in Warsaw, Poland, was founded in 1765, during the Polish Enlightenment, by that country's last monarch, Stanisław August Poniatowski. The theatre shares the Grand Theatre complex at the Theatre Square in Warsaw with another national venue, the Poland's National Opera.

Teatr Wielki is known for its beautiful architecture and is definitely worth seeing both from the outside and from the inside. There’s also a great restaurant Thai Thai nearby so you get 2 in 1 ;).
Wonderful building. Amazing interior. Comfortable seating with good views of the stage. Well worth a visit even if not attending an even.
