This place operates out of a periwinkle blue storefront in Gowanus—the former home of My Cuban Spot—and serves a takeout-only menu of Puerto Rican classics like arroz mamposteao and gooey-on-the-inside guava and cheese empanadillas. The picadillo-filled relleno de papa is one of the best in town, the pernil is well-marinated and comes with a big side of arroz con gandules, and the Cubano is almost as good as the previous tenant’s version.
