The Hen and Chickens Theatre is a fringe venue for theatre and comedy situated above a pub at Highbury in the London Borough of Islington. The theatre management was awarded to actress Felicity Wren in 1999. The Mighty Boosh played here numerous times in their early comedy career

Not a bad pub and and pulls a good crowd with and without the entertainment. Significant gripe, as draught Bass enthusiasts we were drawn across yesterday by the big Bass sign on the side of the buil.
Came in because I saw the Bass and Charringtons logo outside and see if they had Bass on draught they do but sadly all the pump clips were turned round so no ale. Very clean pub and great to see the t
This is a lovely busy pub. Good service and drinks at London prices. Opportunity for theatre performances. Good location next to tube and a range of restaurants. Really nice early evening drinks- alth
