Gene & Judes is technically in River Grove, but it is still one of the most iconic hot dog stands in Chicago. It opened on Polk and Western back in 1946, and didn't move to the suburbs until 1950. It has incredible dogs, hand-cut fries, and absolutely no ketchup. There are no seats and it's cash-only, so plan accordingly.
