Silver Lake State Park is a 2,936-acre public recreation area bordering Lake Michigan and Silver Lake, four miles west of Mears in Oceana County, Michigan. The state park is composed of mature forest land and over 2,000 acres of sand dunes. Park grounds include the Little Sable Point Light and an off-road vehicle area for driving on the sand dunes.

We camped here one night on a recent road trip. We had a pop-up camper and the site was flat making for very easy setup. We had two vehicles, which easily fit at the site as well. Because it is a stat
Beautiful park with various trails to walk and climb. The beach is also very nice, the water wasn't too cold for Lake Michigan. Be prepared to pay a fee to climb the lighthouse.
