After J’s Mini Hot Pot's original Buford Highway location closed after 21 years, their newly renovated Duluth location is now the only one remaining. But this location still keeps the original essence with a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere, bright interior, and cheery, colorful pots that make us feel like we’ve got all the time in the world. And that’s great because combos come with huge bowls of vegetables and noodles that’ll take some time to work through. As far as the combos, we love the sliced lamb—so juicy and tender it nearly melts. For a lighter option, get the flaky fish slices. Or dabble in a little of each since J’s offers individual pots in addition to their family-style communal pots.
