We didn’t think we’d find euphoria on the sidewalk on Bedford in Williamsburg. But it’s there if you go looking, in a beach chair, with tahini dripping down your wrists while you take down a falafel pita from Paolina. There’s no menu at this hyper-focused, order-at-the-counter operation, because they just do one thing: falafel. You can pita or platter, and we’re extremely into the pita for a quick, casual lunch that will have you saying “wow” out loud to yourself. They load you up with all the fixings and such thoughtful layerings of sauce and toppings so that every bite is its own special world, from first bite to last. The falafels themselves are bright with herbs, fluffy on the inside, and scorching hot. If you’re into the art of falafel, this one is worth crossing town for.
