Vanam is a nice place to have vegetarian Indian food. We tried south Indian food for what it is famous for, so I'm not sure if it's gonna be worth trying not Indian food. We ordered Idli - big ones do

Ambience and staff were great! The food we got on the thaali was delicious, would have appreciated a bit more spice but that's a personal preference. The roti was unfortunately underdone though

I love this place. Best vegetarian restaurant in Chicago in my opinion. Can't wait to go back. Clean and neat. Delicious food. Humble service. Absolutely love this place.
