Cajun Cooking Lesson with Bruce. Great experience making your own Jambalaya on a Bunsen-type burner in a cast iron pot. Each couple made their own meal. Beignets & coffee added for dessert.

We visited the Cajun Village on Easter Sunday while on a cruise of the Lower Mississippi by American Cruise Line. Bruce, our host, gave us a warm Southern welcome. The highlight was making Jambalaya.

We were on a road trip and found this jewel on the way. It was so unique and we loved it. A must stop! The food was delicious. We will be going back.
