Miami isn’t a city with a plethora of great Jewish delis, so you should know about this casual Mid-Beach spot where sandwiches are the main event. They’re all made with meats that are smoked, brined, or cured in-house. The pastrami is our favorite. It’s not overwhelmingly fatty, but still luxuriously tender, and not so overstuffed that it’s exhausting to eat. Ask for it with a smear of onion jam to help balance the salty meat. There are some tables in the bright deli, and a friendly staff that’s happy to chat while you eat, but the beach is also a short drive away if you’d rather make a picnic out of it.
