If not, be warned that this teeny, tiny neighbourhood spot is likely to cause some zealous E8 Zoopla behaviour. Running Late Coffee’s chilli red branding is on point, the dark chocolate and miso cookie is chunky and hypnotically chewy, and the name speaks to us on a level that can only be understood if you’re our line manager. It’s owned and run by a couple of Irish mates who really know their coffee, so it’s a no-brainer for a caffeine kick, but it’s also worth going out of your way for the olive oil and brie masterclass that is the aubergine quiche. There isn’t any seating inside but if the weather’s nice, set up camp on one of the benches outside or go for a walk and introduce your cookie to London Fields.
