I was a bit worried seeing the reviews, but it was a very rainy day so an afternoon movie was the perfect time killer. I can only speak for the V Max and it was a 3.30pm session on a Thursday so not .

The film “Ocean” was brilliant - but the experience in Event George St was the most unpleasant cinema visit I’ve ever experienced. The worst bit was the approx half hour of very loud ads thrown at us.

The theater was very nice and clean. We were in the recliner seats in the IMAX theater and we were very comfortable for a long movie. Highly recommend this theater.
