The old Daily Driver in Dogpatch has been reborn as Sōhn, a Korean cafe and hangout that’s right at home in the stunning, airy two-story space. It’s the kind of place where you can dump your phone into the depths of your tote and actually focus on the person you’re with, or take an uninterrupted moment with a matcha or iced latte with salted cream. The pastries and small dishes are also worth hanging around for—especially the steamed egg breakfast sandwich on a crackly croissant, and the gochujang cookie with a hint of funk and crisp edges. If you need to get work done on a screen, there’s also wifi and seating on both levels.
