Structural integrity chat is par for the course at well-loved, laid-back Peckham pub, The Greyhound. But the crowd aren’t talking about the heads on their pints. Patio Pizza is in residency in the kitchen, serving London-style pizza with crisp bases and bubbling crusts. There are artful dots of whipped ricotta and ultra-thin bases, but this is a pizza place that doesn’t take itself too seriously—see the cheese-pull mozzarella stick and Jax pie that doubles up on meat. We’ve found the margherita to be a touch dry, but you can’t go wrong with the meatier pepperoni and ‘nduja pies, drizzled with smoky-sweet chilli honey.
