Dordt College is a private, Christian, liberal arts college located in Sioux Center, Iowa, United States. It was founded in 1955 and is affiliated with the Christian Reformed Church in North America. The college name is a reference to the Synod of Dordt (Dordrecht). Dordt annually enrolls about 1,500 students from more than 30 states, several Canadian provinces, and dozens of other countries, with a student-faculty ratio of 14:1. U.S. News and World Report has included Dordt in its America’s Best Colleges listing for 24 straight years (since 1993), including a six top 10 rankings in the Midwest region’s Best Baccalaureate Colleges.
