Titled after the childhood nickname of the late Queen Elizabeth II, who was born in a townhouse which once stood on this site, this Russel Sage-designed dining room certainly feels fit for a queen. The Edwardian-style décor has flash and glitz aplenty, while the seafood-centric cookery presents plenty of opportunity for splashing out. Oysters, caviar and whole fish cooked over flames catch the eye, but there’s also a pleasing selection of lesser-seen produce such as hake head and garfish. For something different, order the regularly changing ‘Fish Triptych’ that includes a fish in raw, grilled and soup forms.
