Our experience with Colonia Express was fine. We left from Montevideo to Buenos Aires, so a bus took us from Montevideo to Colonia del Sacramento then we boarded the ferry to Buenos Aires. We did not

As a whole, the ferry service itself is quite efficient and a good service with good facilities (albeit not cheap - c.€75 for two people one way). The customer service was dissapointing in a few area.

I travelled using the Colonia Express for a quick overnight trip from Buenos Aires to Montevideo (via coach at Colonia del Sacramento). The actual terminal can get quite cramped especially at the bor.
