With the addition of Super Nice Pizza, the area around 108th and Amsterdam Ave. is a more delicious place. The pizzeria is from the same guy behind Super Nice donuts around the corner (and in East Harlem), and it’s a great option for a casual dinner with a nice glass of wine or a cocktail. The pies are classic Neapolitan, with charred crusts and wet middles, and a sauce that leans salty rather than sweet (try the one with housemade sausage). The tiramisu is also fantastic, and the whole place feels like a throwback pizzeria, with half-curtains across the windows, red brick, and an inviting bar with wooden stools.
