It was cloudy with a cool breeze. Saw a shrimping boat in the little bit of sun off the coast. There is a wheelchair ramp/pad that goes out over the dune by the picnic table area.

The beach runs the length of the island with multiple access points. It is wide and mostly flat, making it great for families and swimming.
